
Project Manager: Kevin Gonzalez
Kevin (He/Him/His) is currently a 4th year student majoring in Statistics and Data Science at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Aside from being a student, Kevin enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.
As the project manager, Kevin was in charge of ensuring deadlines are met in a timely manner and fostering team communication.

Web Specialist: Misha Reiss
Misha (He/Him) is a 4th year Statistics and Data Sience major at UCLA. He is on the executive board of the Bruins Sports Business Association and is the president of the defending national champion UCLA Club Basketball team. Outside of school he loves sports, travelling, and cooking
As the web specialist, Misha lead the web development portion of the project, including both the designing and implementation of the text and visuals into the site. Misha's experience with WordPress facilitated a streamlined development process, leveraging the platform's versatile features to bring the project to fruition efficiently and effectively.

Mapping Specialist: Daphne Hidley
Daphne (she/her) is a 4th year Statistics and Data Science student at UCLA from the San Fernando Valley. On campus, she serves on the board of the UCLA Statistics Club as the Diversity and Inclusion Co-Chair. When she is not studying statistics, she is taking French classes in order to punish herself.
As the mapping specialist, Daphne oversaw the creation and analysis of the project’s maps, both new and archival. She procured, processed, and visualized all locational data.

Data Specialist: Ari Rozen
Ari (he/they) is a 4th year Statistics and Data Science undergrad at UCLA from the San Fernando Valley. At UCLA, he conducts directed research in statistics, merging his passion for competitive games and data analysis. You can often find him chilling and maybe even catching a vibe.
As the data visualization specialist, Ari leads the creation of visualizations that contextualize our findings. He does this using and teaching other group members technologies like Tableau, Python’s Matplotlib, and R’s ggplot2.

Content Specialist: Gabby Bauman
Gabby (she/her) is a 4th year English and Sociology student at UCLA from Sacramento, CA. She has been interning at UCLA Law for their Communications department and has had a blast creating engaging social media content.
As the content specialist, Gabby constructed the project’s “About” page, including the “Methods” subtab. She worked collaboratively to successfully convey a written articulation and analysis of the data visualizations that her teammates created. With her background in social media marketing, she enjoyed creating the project graphics seen on the “home page” and “background” sections.

Data Specialist: Meiyi Ye
Meiyi (she/her) is a 4th year student at UCLA studying Statistics and Data Science. She collaborates with the Department of Psychology on research projects focused on machine learning and deep learning. In her free time, she likes to test her limits at all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.
As the data specialist, Meiyi, takes charge of cleaning and organizing data. She makes sure it's ready to use, clear, and set up right for analysis and creating visuals.
